My hubby said this is salad was like spring in a bowl! It was wonderful! This will be a repeat for sure! Great the next day thrown in a torilla shell and made into a wrap as well!!!

I know I will make this salad as soon as the weather gets warmer! Looks awesome, light and something I could use my garden goodies in. I may add a little ham and turkey also with hard boiled eggs and also different colored bell peppers. Nutritional analysis would be nice on the original recipe, but as it is shown it is very low in fat. Thank You. Claire

i got this salad made in less then 20 minutes, with a 3.5 year old and a 10 month old running circles around me. and my whole family loved it!

Look, don't get your undies in a wad over the yogurt thing. If you can't find Greek yogurt, take regular, plain yogurt, put it in a coffee filter, put the filter in a seive, put the seive over a bowl, put it in the fridge for a few hours or overnight, and STOP WHINING! You now have Greek yogurt.

first, the person from arizona needs to spell ingredients the correct way. Second-if you can't find the ingredients listed in a recipe, substitute!!! Cooking really isn't that hard to do and you can use tarragon for lots of things as well as greek style yogurt. my grocery store doesn't sell kirby cucumbers but I just used a regular old green cucumber. not that difficult. It's delicious and refreshing and light on the stomach.

I would have added a hard boiled egg
I also modded a few things
I used dried tarragon
Regular Yogurt and not Greek
No Peppers (didn't have any
and threw in cucumbers
I used Baby Spinach and Romaine
Basically whatever I had in the fridge to make it work
It tasted great!

This salad looks like a simply lovely while I will probably make it because it sounds delicious, I do wish that the nutritional information had been included. Is this something that could be included in future recipes please?

I don't understand why you would be so negative about a recipe you have never tried. If you don't want to try new ingredients and learn to cook with healthy foods, then skip over the recipe and keep going. I for one greatly appreciate the new recipes with all the healthier ingredients that these cooks/chefs are coming up with. I have been trying many of these, with excellent results. Also am growing some fresh herbs on my window sill in my kitchen--tarragon, chives, parsley, basil etc. And am loving the results of having them so handy and knowing there is no pesticides on them. So Food Network: keep up the great job (Love Ellie Krieger's recipes. Thank You

I found this to be an excellent "one dish meal" as well. The flavors were well balanced and not too overpowering as I thought the case might be. I used a left over "half" chicken I grilled the night before. To the rater from Arizona, If you don't appreciate the taste benefits of using fresh herbs, then I suppose you could substitute dry ingregients (use half as much, but then again if your taste is on that level, you're probably better off buying a head of iceberg lettuce and a bottle of french dressing.
