I agree with Sandra...Im really glad Barbie asked the question because my husband won't eat mushrooms and I was wondering what else I could use. I can't wait to take them to my super bowl party this weekend.

I would like to say that my husband and I really enjoyed these. I usually don't comment on any of the recipes, but these were out of this world good. Great comfort food. I did not have any prossciutto so I substitued crumbled cooked bacon and they were really good. This is going to be a deffinate keeper recipe that I will use again and again. Thanks Giada for this one!

I made this dish for my family and it was fabulous! Giada has done it again. I did change a few things though. I couldn't get prosciutto from my local grocery store so I just omitted it. Just to lighten it up a bit I used only 2 tablespoons of butter and moistened it with low sodium chicken broth. It worked just fine. For our Super Bowl party I plan on using tasso (a local pork product instead of the mushrooms. I can't wait!

This recipe sounds absolutely delicious! All of Giada's recipes I've tried have been five star. Nelda, you need to chill, Barbie was only asking a question about an ingredient substitution.

Great comfort food amd very satisfying. Instead of all oregano, I combined oregano, basil and thyme. If you don't like mushrooms, use brocccoli or caramelized onions or some other vegetable you do like. Please stop rating dishes you have never even tried!
