    I have never tried hummus before but just made this. It is delicious. I can't wait until my wife gets home to try it. She loves black beans. This is something "very different" and that is why I belong to the Food Network. "If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got."

    Mmmmm mmmmm mmmmm!!!!!! Delicious! I added a little more garlic and reduced the amount of lemon and vinegar and slapped it in a tortilla. SO GOOD!

    I made this from a pot of beans I cooked myself. It was bland by my standards. I love black beans but this recipe wasn't flavorful enough for me.

    Absolutely yummy! Now, I did something a little different. I roasted my garlic... oh my goodness, made this southern girl say Yee Haw! I also loaded up some crunchy celery. Thank you Melissa!

    I adore this recipe and often pair it with pita chips, baby carrots, and cucumber slices for a healthy snack or meal. I did cut back on the white wine vinegar and lemon juice by about half since the tanginess was a little overwhelming.

    Super easy and quite good! I didn't have white wine vinegar, so I substituted red wine vinegar instead. I've never tried hummus before, this was a good place to start. My husband, 2 year old, and I gobbled it down with tortilla chips.
