This is terrific! We constanly make this recipe. We use it on tortillas with cheese as a healthy snack. A great recipe!

This was enjoyable... I used regular white vineagr instead of white whine vinegar. I would probably cut the amount of vinegar and lemon in half so the hummus isn't as tart.
However, this was very good!

I have made this many, many times! However, I have never made it exactly as written out. Don't have white wine vinegar, simply used a dry white wine. Also, I accidently started adding oregano, as another one of Melissa's black bean recipes talks about how oregano and black beans go together well. I like making this with flour tortillas that I have cut into chips and broiled .

I made this dip for an impromptu gathering a few nights ago and there was none left! It was so super easy to put together. I does have the consistency of hummus but I would probably call it a dip as there is no tahini in it. I sprinkled some freshly chopped cilantro on top and served it with regular tortilla chips. It was fantastic! I love the "tangyness" (if thats a word of the white whine vinegar. I'll definitely be making this again! Thank you Melissa!

This was my first time ever making hummus. It was super easy to make and I prepared it in under 10 minutes. Remember to mince the garlic really well otherwise you will have tiny pieces of garlic in your mouth! I used one clove for a cup and a half of black beans. Will definitely make it again!

I had hummus on one occasion many years ago and it was awful, so needless to say I steered clear of hummus because I thought all hummus tasted awful. After reading so many positive reviews for this recipe I decided to try it and I'm so glad I did! This hummus is beyond good! I've made it twice in the past week and between my husband and I it disapears within minutes! Thank you Melissa for a healthier alternative to fattening dips
