    I made these for a Super Bowl party and everyone loved them. I thought they were good but the powder whip topping turned the consistency somewhat "marshmallowie" (is that a word?. I will use heavy whipping cream next time for a light, airy texture. This was the first time I've made a Marcela recipe and I was pleasantly surprised. The use of the Maria cookie and piloncillo was outstanding - completely different from using graham cracker crust. I would give this recipe 4.5 stars if that was an option.

    I made about sixty of these for Mother's day and everyone loved them.
    I used the store bought mini graham cracker crusts and they were decent. I could just eat the fluffy filling on its own. It people didn't taste a lot of strawberry, they didn't use enough. Make sure you beat the sour cream and sugar very well before you incorporate the strawberries so they don't get soggy!
    Thanks again for the wonderful recipe chef!

    I loved them so much, made the crust super thick, didn't have tart baking dishes, so I used pie, the crust sticks, so definitly use tart dish. I also didn't notice when reading the whiping powder, I am not familiar with the ingredient, but with out that it turned soooo good! I made two had to give one away so I don't eat it all by myself. I used fresh strawberries and graham cracker powder to make my crusts!

    I've made these several times and each time they are a huge hit! I've also substituted the strawberries for lemon zest and lemon juice and they come out just as fantastic ;

    It tasted ok, but not enough strawberry flavor. My family didn't really like the fluffy, pillowy, marshmallowy texture of the filling.

    I too used the small graham cracker crusts, but I made the tarts
    with fat free cream cheese and fat free sour cream, do to health
    reasons. I couldn't believe how fantastic these were. My kids and
    grandkids never knew they were eating mostly fat free. They couldn't get enough of them. The amount of filling filled 12 small tarts.

    yum yum yum, so good and super easy!! after reading the reviews, i decided to use less brown sugar - about half - and i only used about 1/4 c of sugar in the filling...it was awesome! i also added some lemon zest and lemon juice to the filling which made it extra tasty. my family loved it and i will definitely make this again with different fruits!!!

    Delicious and EASY! My boyfriend LOVED this dessert. It was sweet but not too sweet and so creamy and the crust was delicious too! I used a pie pan and made a pie instead of tartlets. I would recommend using the tartlets because it doesn't cut well due to the consistency of the filling, but still amazing and I will make it again!I used light cream cheese and light sour cream and it was perfect.
