these were great and I added raisins along with the nuts so it tasted almost like a Chunky bar! Easy to make

I made this tonight and they turned out soooo good! It's crispy on the outside and super moist and chewy on the inside. I'm not very good at baking but this recipe rocks!

These cookies were simple and quick to bake and my friends and neighbors just raved about them. Unfortanately, they were not a hit and me and my family. The just didn't have the "wow" factor.

My kids love these cookies! I have made the recipe several times and will continue to make them. If your batter is coming out a bit dry, instead of adding more butter or eggs just put in less flour. That's what I do and they still come out great!

I absolutely love these cookies!! I made them for my family and they vanished within 1/2 a day! They might just be my new favorite cookie.

This recipe is perfect exactly the way it is written and the only thing I changed was I used an extra large egg and baked them for 13 minutes. They were slightly crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. The dough is dense and dry, but if you use an ice cream scoop, it stays together. Everyone loves them. Wow.

I made these cookies for our Christmas dinner, but I left out the egg and used one tablespoon of canola oil because my daughter is allergic to eggs. It turned out fabulous! Everyone loved it and I will definitely make it again!!

These cookies are delicious. I had to run out and buy the ingredients as soon as I saw the episode today. My entire family enjoyed them and will be bringing some to a party tomorrow. I followed the recipe as on the website and they were perfect.

WOW! These cookies are to die for. I saw the BFC episode this morning and had to try them. I too noticed the differences in the show and the written recipe. I followed the recipe exactly as written on the Food Network website with the exception of the butter - I used unsalted because that's all I had. I distinctly remember Kathleen saying to bake the cookies at 375 degrees, but I followed the written recipe and baked them at 350. 13 minutes and they were perfect. They didn't look done, but they do after they cool on a wire rack for a while. So delicious! Made a second batch as well without almonds to take to work.

This is a great recipe. Everyone loved them. They tasted the best after you let them cool off for 30 minutes. My husband could not stop eating them even though he did not like the almonds. Next time I will try to use walnuts.
