Any time I find fresh figs, I make this recipe. I serve the figs over some vanilla Greek yogurt. This is one of my all-time favorite recipes!

Love it - I tried plums and a pinch a nutmeg. I love the cold fresh ricotta with the warm plums/figs. I have made this 3x already!!!!

This recipe was fantastic! Make your own ricotta...it is so worth it. It is a really simple recipe, but I never thought to put the two together. I am so glad I found it. Delicious, delicious, delicious! I will definitely be making this again. For the kids, for dinner parties, whenever!

My first time ever trying figs. I waited all year just to try the recipe. This was fantastic. All the flavors & textures were perfect. Recipe is fabulous as is. Thanks Claire. I love simple recipes. Thanks for 5 Ingredient Fix!

This was sooooo good!!!! I don't like figs, so I made this with peaches and apples. I was also out of honey, so I substituted brown sugar instead. The apples were like a warm carmel apple....so delicious! I served the peaches with cream cheese! That was my fav!!! It was like a warm peaches and cream!!!!!!!!! Just delicious!

I am not a big fan of only using 5 ingredients even tho Claire makes it look and sound good. The more ingredients you use the more complex and flavorful in my opinion. However, I can see how this is a good thing for people who do not have a lot of money and a minimum of ingredients. This was a very good recipe. I used it over ice cream.

For Laura, yes figs are only available in summer and usually from big stores in big towns. However, Claire did say in the show that if fresh figs were not available then by all means use dried figs, just cut them in half and place them in the sauce in gthe pan.

I gave it 5 stars even though I haven't made it yet because it really bothers me when someone gives a low rating to a recipe they haven't even tried yet, but they wanted to make some comment about the recipe. I was all excited about making this meal for Valentine's Day brunch and was very disappointed when I went to Whole Foods (the most likely store to have them and was told they are only in season in the summer. So, since I had already bought the other ingredients, I bought dried figs and I'll see what I can do with them. The big question is... why present a recipe where the main ingredient is unavailabe for several more months? It is a new 2010 episode. If someone out there knows something I don't, please let me know.
