I'm not sure why, but my beans turned out kind of dry. The first time I tried this I used raw beans, the second time I blanched them first. My husband and I liked the flavor, but not the texture of the beans.

Fast, simple and delicious! Don't change anything. My green bean hating husband even likes them.

This is the perfect side dish when you're pressed for time. Literally takes 2 minutes to prep & then it's in the oven. It's so easy to make, but so good! I make this as a side at least once a week. Sometimes I throw some bread crumbs on top, and sprinkle with red pepper flakes for extra flavor.

Another hit! My hubby, hates greens of all kinds, actually ate a full serving of veggies. I will be making these regularly.

    Thanks so much!

Great Recipe ! The only thing extra I added was Garlic Powder and used Pecorino-Romano Cheese.
A little extra X Virgn Oil drizzled again before serving on plates. Yummy !!
You might want to try toasted breadcrumbs which are simply Italian breadcrumbs put in a pan with hot X virgin Oil and shake pan until bread crumbs get golden brown.
Sprinkle over Tyler's string beans before plating. A nice extra touch to a wonderful vegetable side dish!!!

As many of you may know a one and a half year old isn't IN to vegetables. She absolutely loves these, she gobbles them down faster than cookies. I make these all the time and we love the taste and how they go with almost every meal!

This was a very quick and easy recipe to make and was liked by all.--Even a picky 6 year old. I used regular green beans, so I did have to cook them for more than 10 minutes.

I tried this last night and was pleased with the flavor. The texture as a bit odd - I think that the beans dried out a bit. I would make this again and possibly par cook the beans then broil them to crisp up the cheese. And next time I will mix in other veggies too based on other reviews.
