This was such a great treat. I couldn't get fresh so I used frozen and it turned out great! My 15 year old son loved it and he is not crazy about green beans.

I agree the beans should have been blanched first. They were tough. The parmesan flavor was too overwhelming.

I saw the show and Saturday morning and liked everything Tyler put together for the meal. The parmesan green beans were good, but i used too much olive oil. I didn't see the part of the show where Tyler applied the oil, so I didn't know who much to put on prior to the parmesan cheese. While good, there were too oily. I'll know better next time.
The taste though is good.

I tried this recipe since I was also doing the smashed potatoes from the same episode. If I ever do this recipe again I will blanche the haricots verts. They were a little on the tough side for me. I do like some crunch but there were way too much for my taste.

I purchased haricots verts green beans earlier today. As I had recorded Tyler's show I watched it this afternoon and immediately knew I had to make it for dinner tonight! The roasted green beans were so perfectly tender and flavorful. Tyler's advice to minimize over salting was so right since the good parmesan cheese added its own salty taste. In the past I have made this same recipe with broccoli and asparagus but never ever thought of using green beans. This is my new favorite green bean recipe! Thanks Tyler.

Oh my God! What a fantastic and easy recipe. During the show, I heard Tyler say to try it with Broccoli. Soooo, I tried it with Broccoli. Amazing, Delicious!!! So simple too. Wow!
