Excellent Dish. I made the glaze and placed it on the meat as a marinade. Left it on for an hour and then barbecued the meat. It was fabulous! My husband couldn't stop eating it. Thanks Paula and Jamie for the great recipe.

This was so good! Made it for my boyfriend for his birthday and he said it was much better than my mom's London Broil!
But I had to make three small adjustments based on previous reviews....
First- I did marinate the flank steak I bought for about 2 hours prior to Broiling. I just made a simple marinade of Balsamic and Brown sugar about 1:1 ratio.
Second- The cooking time. I bought only a 1.6lb peice of steak and Broiled it for 7 minutes on each side with the door open. This came out perfectly medium.
Third- I cooked it on a broiling pan. Not sure why the recipe called for a baking sheet but this prevented it from smoking when the glaze was dripping.
Hope everyone else enjoys this as much as we did!

I normally cook a chuck roast in the slow cooker, but London broils were buy one get one free and I decided to try this recipe. Just like someone posted previously, I also set off my smoke alarms! However, I would do it time and time again to have this juicy roast!! My whole family ate it up with no leftovers. That means next time I will have to get a larger roast!!

Wowie!!! Was so easy to make! Was feeling under the weather, so I put all of the marinade in the ziploc bag and let it sit in the fridge for about six hours. Then emptied the entire contents of bag onto foiled lined baking sheet and broiled as the recipe called for and it came out amazing!!! Thanks Paula for helping this single mom pull off dinner when I wasn't feeling to good.

Unfortunately this dish had no taste whatsoever. And the meat came out extremely dry. Maybe I should have made more sauce, but I followed the recipe as called for. I usually like Paula's dishes, so I'm extremely dissappointed.
