I made this without the pancetta, chicken breasts, and chicken stock and it still tasted good. I used vegetable broth instead and added less of it since there was no chicken to soak it up.

I saw Giada make this yesterday morning and was inspired to make it right away. I used boneless chicken breasts because I couldn't find ones w/ rib meat. I used a whole 32 oz. carton of chicken broth, and two cans of water packed artichokes because I couldn't find frozen. It was absolutely delicious and so simple to make.

We loved this dish and it was so simple to prepare. The combination of flavors is perfect. I used the full 32 oz. container of chicken stock. This will be a repeat!

I made this tonight and it was absolutely delicious! I change it by adding boneless chicken thighs instead of the white chicken but so good. I would definately make this again and again!

I made this stew for dinner tonight and it was excellent! Very hardy and delicious. A great comfort food. I didn't get a chance to make the bread recipe with it, will do that for sure next time. And there will definitely be a next time! Thanks, Giada, all you recipes are great! The peanut butter cookies will be tried as well......

I made this recipe tonight and my Italian husband thought it was great! In addition to all the ingredients listed, I added big chunks of butternut squash. This is definitely a keeper. Thank you

This dish is absolutely EXCELLENT!! I used a little more tomato paste since I used the can. The bread is a definite must to complete the meal. Thanks Giada. Carol in New Braunfels.

Easy to make, easy on the budget and fabulous to serve to close friends on a cold wintry night. This has become a family favorite. Imagine, a great dish that can be eaten and enjoyed by the little ones and adults as well. Don't forget the bread............Thanks !!!
