This was so easy and delicious! Used craisins since I was out of raisins. We're making it again tonight! Yum yum

I love this recipe, I usually add cranberries instead of raisin, carrots and pinenuts. The lemon really brightens it up. I make it often.

Finally! Tasty and delicious...An awesome recipe for a rather bland grain. Toasting for 8-10 minutes more is a must. Great on its' own as per recipe. I did since, experiment with almonds, pecans, scallions, feta and have had a ball with this dish. A staple and a keeper in my home for sure! Thanks Ellie!

Indeed best quinoa recipe I have tried so far! Roasted the quinoa for @7 min until golden as others suggested. Left the parsley out as I did not have any on hand. Next time I will try to add a bit of Parmesan to it. Was afraid of it being to sweet due to the raisins...but It was not the case! Loved it.

So flavorful! This is really a wonderful recipe for quinoa, which can be bland. I used Craisins just because it was what I had on hand. I also soaked them for a couple of hours first to plump them up. The pine nuts are a wonderful touch, as is the lemon. This recipe will be a staple in our house.

Very good and simple. I used almonds instead of pine nuts as well.

This is so easy and really good. I used dried cherries instead of rashes but still tasty.

Fantastic basic recipe! Like others, I also used slivered almonds and golden raisins. Per another reviewer's suggestion, I sauteed onion, garlic, celery and carrots in a large saucepan while I toasted the quinoa in a saute pan. : I HIGHLY recommend toasting the quinoa for the full ten minutes until the grains are golden and toasty. A little lemon zest is also adds a very nice touch.
