i made this for dinner last week. i had technical difficulties with my food processor. the recipe calls for blending the almonds, oil and chicken broth all at once, i made a huge mess because the liquid kept coming out of the blender. because of that the almonds were still quite big so it was uncomfortable to eat

i suggest to blend in stages (for those who are new to cooking, like myself.
it was really tasty, i liked it and will certainly give it another try, as soon as i get a better food processor.

I was happy to see my local market (Fairway on UWS, the best! had almonds ready to go. I included a few cherry tomatoes. Definately worth making again.

I made this for my family and we enjoyed it very much. I made it for my family a week ago and they already want me to make it again. My son and husband had it for lunch and dinner two days in a row. It is such a large amount of food. Perfect for leftovers. I read some of the negative comments about too much garlic and a gritty taste and I think the texture great and the garlic was just the perfect amount. I followed this to the T and I will make this again and again.

I was not disappointed by this dish. I look forward to making it again soon. I'm also not big on leftovers, but I couldn't wait to reheat this dish for my lunch the next day.

I generally like Giada's recipes, but this was a disappointment. Thick and flavorless sauce. Looked good on paper, but not on the fork.

I love Giada's recipes and this one did not disappoint. The only thing I did different was I didn't use as much almonds, instead of the 2 cups it requires, I only used 1 cup and I couldn't find heavy cream, all I could find was heavy whipping cream. I cooked it for as long as was required but when I put the mix to the noodles it was still very runny so I let it sit for about 30 mins so that the sauce could thicken and that worked.

I will be using this in my everyday rotation for dinner!

Usually make the recipe as written but this time, after reading the comments, added some caramelized onions to the sauce. It turned out AMAZING!! Yes, there was a gritty taste because of the almonds but that's to be expected. My VERY picky husband was even impressed. Will cut back a bit on the lemon zest next time just for him. I thought it was wonderful as is.

Although my family liked it, I will not make it again because there are similar recipe's that have the same flavor and are not as much work. The almonds didn't add anything special to the taste, and it made the texture less creamy and more gritty.

Excellent taste. Used Better than Bouillion instead of canned chicken broth. Yes,
it had texture but when you grind almonds that's what you get!!! Added sauted
onions and mushrooms for more veggies. Would definitely make it again.

The meal was pretty easy to make and when I had watched the show I was very excited to make it. Throughout the process of my meal I had tried it and wasn't very pleased with the flavor. It needed some real flavor so I switched it up a bit. Instead of a can of chicken broth, I made my own chicken and used the chicken stock from that and added boulin cube chicken to the water as the chicken cooked. This meal is missing a lot of flavor, all in all it was bland. Not my favorite recipe. I'm pretty disappointed in Giada on this one!!
