I was excited to make this dessert because I love anything that includes coffee. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this combination of ingredients. It was way too sweet - could only eat a couple of bites.

Love it , but I also prefer my coffe drinks a little stronger in the coffee taste . I also like to add a little Kaluha to taste . this increases the coffee flavor and gives it a little kick . .. Yummmmmm

This was tasty, but I would recommend making sure the coffee is very strong because mine ended up being just a bit bland with regular strength coffee.

I just had to try this--at least a version of it--it looks so yummy! Unfortunately, I didn't make it to the grocery store early this morning as planned but that didn't stop me--I improvised with what I had! I just made a cup of it though but to my cup of coffee, I added some chocolate syrup and because the last drops of milk I had were spoiled, I substituted with my International Delights creamer, which in this case was French Almond Toffee. I'm not sure how much I used--probably a couple of tablespoons, then poured that into a mug with coffee ice cream!! OMG--this is SO delicious!!

I do plan to make Paula's recipe as written and make a bigger batch of it so it can last me all week but this was a delicious experiment!!

This was great. I used Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee I purchase from JamaicanBlue.ca and it came out perfect for my guests. I also used premium vanilla bean ice cream not French vanilla.
