I can't get the sauce flavors to balance out right for my family. It always comes out too salty.

BEST PIZZA I have ever made!!! I was worried the amount of tomatoes would make the crust soggy but it was definitely crispy with a hint of chewiness! I made the following adjustments: I used San Marzano crushed tomatoes and dried herbs and it tasted fantastic. I used Trader Joe's pizza dough and baked on a round pizza crisper at 475 degrees. I added ribbons of fresh basil before serving for freshness. The pizza was not greasy at all. This will probably be the only pizza I will ever make and may vary it by adding different toppings.

The flavor of the sauce was wonderful. I did not make my own dough, but bought it from the refrigerated section of the grocery store. Came out great.

The sauce was delicious, but the bread was way too salty!

Great pizza! it was my first homemade pizza and everyone loved it. I found the pizza sauce to taste a little off, maybe i cooked the garlic mixture too long but it was still very tasty!

I made this and LOVED it. I halved the dough and made a perfect 8 x 10. Don't halve the sauce though--I tried and ended up needing to add a cup of tomato sauce at the end. We also used more like 2 cups of mozzarella, not sure how you can get away with only one. The dough was chewy, not crispy, but that's what my husband and I like. Use a different dough if you're looking for crispy.I love this recipe, and leftovers were good even two days later.

This was delicious and easy! I used pre-made dough from Publix supermarket. I also used canned diced tomatoes (which I always keep in my pantry and crushed them more. Crust was crispy, pizza was simple and amazingly good! I've been trying for a while to perfect my homemade pizza and I think now I've done it thanks to this recipe!

This was pretty good. The crust was nice and the sauce was tasty. Easy to throw together.

I've never made my own dough before but this was actually pretty easy. I thought that the crust was very tasty and had a good crunch. I like my pizza crust to be crunchy on the outside and doughy on the inside. This hit the mark. Good tomatoes and cheese are imperative.
