Make sure you add enough water--I had one crust turn out fine, but the other one was too crumbly

I have been making pie crust for 15 years and I have never been entirely satisfied with the results. So I went shopping for a new recipe. After a plethora of trials we have a winner. THIS IS THE BEST PIE CRUST PERIOD! So simple to make. So easy to work with (easiest of any I tried.Taste is wonderful! I am thrilled. Thank you!

Great crust, but there was a problem. As I added the ice water to the hard butter and lard and flour mix, it didn't form a ball. I kept on adding more and more and it wasn't forming a ball so I had to stop it and gather the stuff up. Is this me or is out the cuisine art I used. I have one of the latest ones, the bowl is shaped concave, I wondered if that did it.

This is the easiest pie crest I've ever made! The combination of butter and crisco is perfect. I've never added sugar to my crust but I will from now on.

I am a baker and this is the best pie crust recipe I have ever used. My husband raved and raved about the flaky, tasty crust. I used another Food Network Recipe for the filling. I have made many of Ina Garten's recipe- This one was really a HIT!!!!!! Thank you. I love your show.

Incredibly easy recipe. I substituted the butter with non-dairy margarine to keep the pie dough pareve and it worked out beautifully.

Great recipe. This is the first time I've used a food processor to make pie dough but it worked. I think I may have pulsed too many times after I added the water. It wasn't as flaky as I would have liked but I know the secret to a flaky crust is to handle it as little as possible.
