These were AWESOME!! I did make a few changes to suit our taste. We had talapia on hand so I use that rather than halibut. I used a beer batter for the fish and I used broccoli slaw instead of the cabbage, it stays crunchy much longer. To the broccoli slaw, I added fresh diced jalapenos and fresh cilantro to taste. Typically, I'm not a huge seafood fan, but these have made me reconsider....They're Awesome!!

I love this recipe and so did all my lunch guests. I made a couple of minor changes though. I used about 2 tablespoons of the chili powder because I like a little kick, and I substituted flounder for halibut because I didn't want to pay halibut prices. Where I live it presently sells for $29.95 a pound! It was delicious with the flounder. I can't imagine it being any better. I will definitely be making this again and again. I even had the leftovers for lunch today.

This recipe was delicious, my family loved them and decided we don't have to run out anymore on a whim to get fish tacos when we have this delightful recipe.

Fairly authentic. No mayonaise for the sauce. Use crema, creme fraiche or plain yougurt instead. I also wouldn't use halibut. Too costly. Otherwise.. Yum!

Great recipe. Just skip the Halibut. 19.99 a pound (fresh. Cod, tilapia, roughy, any nice white fish.

Delicious! So light and refreshing. Easy to make, really didn't take much time to prepare. I will definitely be making these again. My own modification to the recipe was using frozen flounder instead of halibut because I had it in the freezer (and it is cheaper! Also used store bagged cole slaw mix and saved time on the cabbage prep. It was great! I have read a few of the reviews - I will try baking next time to save on some calories.

I made these a few times last year, and cannot wait to make them again this weekend! They are phenomenal! I do substitute mahi mahi for the halibut, which the recipe calls for. It started out that my local market didn't have any halibut in stock, but now I just go with the mahi mahi because I know it works great, and it's a bit cheaper. Everything about these tacos are fun, and the flavors are out of this world!

I shy away from frying anything I don't have to just to save on the calories. I grilled tilapia with the seasonings but no flour, cut the honey and mayonnaise in half to reduce the sweetness for the dressing and then used only some of the dressing on the cabbage, and put it all in flour tortillas as I'm not particularly fond of corn tortillas. Wonderful! Next time will try chipotle chili powder or my chipotle marinade to give it more kick, and maybe use tuna for the fish.
