This was DELICIOUS (both times I made it!!!! I always loved PF Changs lettuce wraps, and this tasted just like them! I didn't have water chestnuts on hand so I cut the sugar, and replaced them with carrots. It tasted just as amazing.

I always like to adapt recipes to what I have on hand at the time. I had everything but the water chestnuts to make this recipe. Since there are only two of us, I cut down the recipe by 2/3. I only used one half of a chicken breast. Instead of the chestnuts I used chopped cashews, I also added a bit of small diced celery. I used two types of mushrooms, shitake and some baby bella's finely chopped. I am not a big oyster sauce fan so I only used a dab or two of it. I used hearts of romaine lettuce. After I sampled two of them, I realized I did not have enough for my husband who eats a lot (skinny guy too. So I added some cooked chicken breast I had in my freezer, thawed and chopped small and soaked in a little soy sauce. That is the one ingredient I found lacking in this recipe. I added some to the mixture to marinate the diced chicken and doubled what I used in the stir fry sauce. This is going to be a family favorite now.

This turned out really good! My first attempt at Chicken Lettuce Wraps and I'm so glad I picked this recipe to try. Very flavorful. I added carrot and a little extra sugar but that is the only change. My family loved it!

This recipe was very good, but i added a tablespoon and a half of agauve necture to the oyster sauce mixture for a little bit more flavor. I would recommend doing this to make the flavor a little bit more interesting. A keeper for me!

My family loves this recipe. I only use one bundle of the noodles. Make sure the oil is hot. Never any leftovers when this is served. I have been making this for over a year now and I am into double digits of people who have requested this recipe.

Really delicious. The entire family loved these. There is a bit of prep work that has to happen before you get started, but once you do, the whole process takes just a few minutes. Will definitely keep making this recipe. I did add extra heat (more jalepenos, and red chili flakes, because that's what we like.

Delicious. I've been trying to find this recipe since I love the dish from my local Chinese restaurant. I put the noodles on the side so everyone could grab a handful and then put the chicken on top. The kids LOVE the noodles and would not pass on them. Really easy to do too.

My benchmark for this is the PF Chang's version. While the flavor was good, the result was more pale than I would have liked and the meat to vegetable ratio was too high. I doubled the recipe for everything but the stir fry sauce which I increased 2.5 times. I'll try again, but use less chicken and more vegetables. Omitted the fried rice sticks as I feel they only add fat and no flavor or texture since they get mushy. I mixed the mustard, chile paste and soy sauce together for a condiment sauce. That helped the flavor as well.
