This is refreshing and since I love green apples, walnuts, cabbage and parsley it was a instant favorite. Luckily I found the truffle oil easily.
I can't wait to see what other recipes you will showcase. Kudos to you Iron Chef. I hope you will get your own show soon.

    This recipe is good tasting,
I never thought of dressing a cole slaw with truffle oil.
I'll make this recipe and add some broccoli slaw for added crunch.

I made this recipe for a class demo in culinary lab and everyone loved it. They always ask me to bring this slaw now. When they want the recipe I tell them to go to food network and type in green apple truffle slaw. Thanks for making this another great recipe I can add on to and make it my own.

Just took it to a women s going away picnic. They went crazy about this slaw. I used all of the different oils and followed Jose's recipe. One thing, I added more truffle oil, lemon juice & 3 Tablespoons of real maple syrup. Super YUM!! I also added 2 more Tablespoons of raw walnuts sprinkled on top of the Slaw before serving. So delicious!.

I halved the recipe and thought it turned out great. I just used one teaspoon for the black truffle oil. Although it has a completely distinct flavor in that small amount, it's an unexpected, wonderful flavor. Pairs greatly with the apples and walnuts. My only critique is that with the combination of EVOO, grapeseed and truffle oil, this dish does become a little over dressed.

When I first turned the page and saw this recipe, my immediate instinct was "wow, that looks good!" Unfortunately, I went full-force and made the full ten cups of slaw. What a waste of food. The recipe calls for 1tbsp of black truffle oil, which overpowers every other flavor in the slaw. I think if I had used 1/2 tsp of the truffle oil, and a little more sugar, this would be a good recipe. The truffle oil is just waaaay too strong - and I'm I lover of all things strong, especially with food.
