Obviously you can't please everyone!! However, this Fajita recipe was the best recipe my husband and I have enjoyed in a long time. The mix of spice and citrus was fantastic. Thank you GIADA for introducing a recipe we will use monthly. EXCELLENT!!

Delicious recipe, I was not able to find the agave nectar so I used brown sugar and marinated for 24 hours and it turned out to be an excellent dinner and it sure goes well with the spicy salsa. Thanks for sharing Giada.

The marinade recipe gets my top rating- a full 5 stars! It turned a flatiron steak into a great tender steak that paired perfectly with grilled onions and peppers. I marinaded a 1.15 lb steak for 24 hours. I also boiled the marinade as directed and used it as a sauce. It never thickend up for me but was still very tasty. I never mix chicken and steak so cannot comment about the marinade's impact on the chicken.

Sorry Giada but this one was a waste of chicken and steak. It was very bland and needed more ingredients in the marinade and could have used roasted veggies in the tortillas. Try Alton Brown's fajitas for a much better alternative.

Both of you need to revisit the definition of "cross-contamination". DUH!!!

Cross-contamination refers to putting raw chicken with an ingredient such as vegetables that will be served raw. There's no problem combining proteins when you marinate.

I agree with you Mike....you should never combine chicken and beef or shrimp or pork....cross contamination is a very very serious issue and can't believe Food Network even allowed this.

I question the cross contamination of chicken and steak in the marinade. I believe cross contamination is a serious issue and should not allowed on any show other then for educational purposes. Care to comment

I've made a few fajita recipes before but they were never that great. This recipe on the other hand was the best fajita recipe ever! I won't have to ever search for another fajita recipe. It was so good!

This is the first Giada recipe that has ever failed me. I watched this episode and thought her fajitas looked so good! When I made it with skirt steak, my boyfriend and I both decided that it was just too sweet for steak fajitas- I guess we're just used to my more traditional marinade. However, to use up the leftover orange juice, I made this marinade again-this time, for chicken. It was a FANTASTIC chicken marinade!
