Had 16 over for a birthday bash for a friend and these fajitas were the hit of the evening! Only thing I did differently was add some cumin-gave a little smokey note. I served with the chicken and steak cooked shrimp as an option with condiments including sauteed onions and sauteed yellow, orange and red bell peppers, guacamole, lettuce, sour cream, salsa, lime wedges and pickeled jalapenos. YUMMY!!! Will be keeping this recipe for sure!

I used this recipe to make dinner for my family tonight. I am 22 years old and have never cooked before. Let me tell you, it was AMAZING! My whole family loved it. I thought for sure we would have leftovers but there is nothing left. Suffice to say that I will be making this again. Thanks Giada, for a great, easy meal!

Sorry - I didn't make this recipe yet, but sounds good. Sounds a little sweeter than I am used to my fajitas being. But I wanted to comment on somebody asking about boiling down the marinade and I couldn't put a review unless I rated it (so don't go by my 4 stars- it's a guess. I wouldn't do it. I don't care - I always err on the side of caution. I just take out what I need before I marinade the meat and I'm good to go. And it was Tyler Florence that made that comment to I think Jamica on last season. Again, I wouldn't do it - not worth getting sick over.

I tried this marinade with pressed tofu. IT WAS AWESOME! The marinade thickens up so nicely and to me tofu has never tasted so good. Brava!

Having lived in Texas for about 25 years, I have had my share of Tex-Mex!! This recipe blew me away!! The marinade was delicious...my husband and 3 year old also loved it. I used boneless chicken breast and substituted brown sugar for the agave nectar. It was awesome!! Great flavor...I will definitely be making this again!!

My daughter and i watched this episode and she decided that we should have these and the black bean corn and tomato salad before she goes in for braces. I guess she is calling it her "last supper". It was such a treat and she really enjoyed it. The salad was also great.

Giada said that it is okay to cook the marinade because reheating it kills all the bacteria that could have been in it from the raw poultry. Cook it for atleast five minutes and you're good!

I thought you were not supposed to marinate poultry & beef together??

Giada also used the marinade that was left over, cooked it and served it on the side. Isn't this a no-no?

I remember one of the contestants on the Next Food Network Star--I think her name is Kisha (? who suggested doing the exact thing (cooking the remainder of the marinade and serving on the side and she was chastised for it.

I can't remember which judge (Bobby FLay? told her she could have gotten her diners ill by doing this.

SO........who is right? If Giada doesn't kill us with this recipe, then I think someone owes that contestant an apology.
