Yes, I think the recipe writers forgot to put in the marinating part. Chick Fil A marinates their chicken in pickle juice, thats a well known fact. But, very good recipe if you marinate about 20-30 mins. Perfect for those that miss the Chick Fil A chicken!

Great take on chick fil A sand. Some said something is missing? Was it something in the sauce? I heard someone talking about takes on resaurant recipes; they said there's dill in the sauce/mayo? Anyone know, is this true?

Just made this for dinner and it was amazing! My husband isn't the biggest Chick-fil-A fan and he even enjoyed them. We took everyone's advice and soaked the chicken for about 30 minutes in the pickle juice and we also did a second trip thru the wet and dry coatings. This was the perfect thing to satisfy my craving since we live almost 200 miles from a close Chick-fil-A. Can't wait to try it again!

I thought it was great! I actually made nuggets, and they were amazing! The true trick was to marinate them in dill pickle juice for 15- 20 minutes before making them. They are so worth it!

Great sandwich! Chicken was moist, tender and flavorful. Definitely representive of a ChickFilA sandwich. Foodnetwork test kitchen should also recreate their waffle fries!

I absolutely love ChickFilA, so I had to try these. They were close but something was missing. I will definitely make them again - maybe I'll try the pickle juice marinade below.

I just made this for dinner aand I thought it was really good. I have tried a number of different ways to make chicken sandwiches at home, and this one is by far the best. I expected a better reaction from my boyfriend, but he wasn't as impressed as I was.
