These are simply amazing pancakes! I saw these on Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, and had to give them a try. What I love about Anne Burrell is that she explains cooking procedures in a way that makes sense, and in a way that really make you want to try the recipes. She seems so passionate about what she does, and her energy and zest are just infectious! Anyway, I made these pancakes for dinner a few days ago and we're already making them again for our current houseguest. I've never been much of a pancake person, and I don't like lemon flavors in baked goods normally, but these pancakes are fluffy and are perfectly sweet, and the lemon is a perfect match for the strawberry coulis without being overwhelming. Will make these again and again!

Delicious- A few minor adjustments because I went to the store before finding the recipe... I sprinkled blueberries in instead of making the strawberry coulis. Also, I used 1 regular lemon juiced and zest instead of two meyer lemons. The consistency was amazing- light, fluffy, and creamy. They definitely have a different flavor then regular pancakes but are so tasty, I think I might make them instead of traditional buttermilk from now on.

Light, fluffy. Lemony but not too much so. I could eat these every morning. Try with the sausage and egg cups for brunch. YUMMY

Best pancakes ever!!! the fist time I made them they were a little bit too "cake" like for my taste. The second time a cut back a little bit the flour and they turned out AWSOME!! super moist and delicious!! Make sure you don't put too much flour and don't over mix them. They are the best!!!!! Thank you Anne!!! You are so much fun to watch....

I just made these this morning and they were amazing. I seriously couldn't stop saying mmmm as I ate them. I didn't have meyer lemons so I used regular ones and added a little bit of orange zest to my batter. I also wanted my coulis thicker so I didn't add the orange juice but instead used orange zest there too. My husband thought they were good, but of course he's not as big a lemon fan as I am so he wasn't oohing and ahhing like me. I was also making buttermilk pancakes for my 14 year old and his friends and was shocked when they each wanted to try a sample. After they each had a half of one they loved them and wanted more. Amazing! Thanks Anne!

I went to my local grocery store in search of some meyer lemons for this recipe. Turns out that they don't carry them anymore, so I improvised. I used one and a half lemons and half of an orange to make it sweet like a meyer lemon, and it turned out perfect. I will definietly make this recipe again.

I did the receipe exactly and they turned out perfectly. The texture is light and fluffy. The lemon flavor is not over powering, the Meyer Lemon is perfect. We love the Stawberry Coulis and will use it for other things as well. This is now a family favorite.
