This recipe was really fulling and good. The chicken marinade was a little too smokey for my taste but when mixed in with the queso fresco and tomatillos! It was delicious! The queso fresco went so perfect with the dish, it really made it. It was really fulling and good, very yummy!

This recipe was so good!! I loved the smoky flavor the marinade and grill combo made. I had never tried tomatillos before this and I was pleasantly surprised they offered some great flavor. I love vegetables so I used spinach instead of romaine and added sliced radishes, tomatoes and avocado sprinkled with some tapitio, Yummy. also I didn't purchase queso fresco I just used goat cheese. regardless this was a great recipe!

Delish! Some of the reviews said they were bland and lacking flavor so I was a bit skeptical. I thought they were bursting with flavor. I have never used tomatillos before and didn't know what to expect. I only marinated the chicken for about 20 min. because I realized this step too late, I don't think it made much of a difference. So good! I used corn tortillas because I already had them. I also cooked everything on the stove on a grill pan and I skipped the skewers... time consuming and pointless on the stove.

Husband said it was one of his favorites!! Was a HUGE hit with the family! I even used a strip steak in addition to the chicken... and it was just as good, if not better! I also charred some jalapenos on the grill to add some heat! Will be doing this one again and again!! So easy!!

I loved this recipe and so did my family. My teenage daughter said wow that was awesome and we all know we don't hear that much!! I did add my own flare by creating my own avocado tomato salsa. Really brought all the favors together. Yum yum! Will definitely make it again.

This came out great and was very easy to make. The marinade is simple and tasty. You don't really need a sauce because the charred tomatillos become mushy and act as the sauce and are full of flavor, I left them on the grill longer than it said. I used a corn tortilla and it tasted great, family gobbled it all up. Will definitely make again.

First time giving a 3 star, usually when I try a 5 star it's amazing but this wasn't that great, I won't be making it again, I will probably make the chicken again and make up my own recipe. And I need to agree with some other comments, it was very bland and it needed something more, I added some sour cream to it after taking a couple bites, but definitely needed something else.

I made this into a casserole/lasagna style mine sauteed sliced mushrooms, diced onions and the tamatillos in some light butter really small amount, i added a tsp of black pepper, cumin, and chili powder then turned them off, in the bottom of the casserole dish i layed out tortillas to cover the bottom, then a light layer mozzerella cheese then the mushroom mixture, then repeat until you reach the top, add a last layer of tortillas and over the top of that i added two shallow cans of green chilis (this will help with the bland dryness and wont add too many calories then another light layer of cheese bake at 350 for about 15-20 minutes it will come out bubbly then cover with a little cilantro

i served a slice of this over a bed of corn and black beans that comes in the grocers freezer isle all in all it was about 3 bucks a serving.

it isnt exactly the same but it was inspired by this recipe made vegetarian and a little more kid friendly.

Honestly I thought it was going to be better. It needs some kind of sauce. It was bland. Didn't like the flour tortilla either it just became soggy. Would have been better with corn tortillas that you fold and eat because this way you had to use a knife. It has great ingredients just needed something more.
