I came up with an idea like this a long time ago but instead of hot dogs i use bratwurst. And also for just a little extra kick i put on some Jack Daniel's bbq sauce. TASTY!!

Our Grandson picked this out of this months magazine. I thought they would be disgusting. Well I made 14 of them with Peterson's all beef polish dogs and not a one was left between five kids and two husbands, the women thought that a tomato bread salad would be better! Grandma you are the best, is the comment I got!

My mom used to make hot dogs wrapped in bacon for us, but she split the dogs lengthwise, not quite all the way through, and put cheese strips in the dogs, then wrapped them with bacon. She made them on a grill in the summer, and under the broiler in winter. They were yum.
