I saw this Saturday and couldn't wait to try it. I made it tonight with a turkey breast. It was sooo good! My husband even liked it. We decided it would be a great addition to our holiday meals. Maybe we'll substitute dried cranberries. Or maybe not, great as is.

This was a great go to dish. I made it to go with Cornish Game Hens. My only complaint was that during the show she didn't give all the amounts of the ingrediants.

We made this tonight. Very simple and flavorful. My husband and I loved it and he isn't a big rice fan!

Made this today after watching the show, and it was delicious, only used walnuts instead of pecans as that is what I had in my pantry, and the fresh parsley was in my garden, will make this a lot in the future as all these items are our favorites and always in my house!! I, too, made the rice first in my rice cooker, with their amounts for the rice and chicken broth, then stirred in the rest of the ingreds. once the rice was done. My husband loved it, also.

I didn't follow the directions for making the rice, because I used Texmati "Royal Blend" which contains a mix of rices--wild, brown and red--and so I followed the directions on the package instead, substituting chicken stock for the water. I think that long cooking time and extra liquid would be more appropriate for actual wild rice. In any case, mixing in the cherries, nuts and parsley was GREAT (don't skip the parsley--it really makes a difference, both in taste and presentation--that pop of green, and went beautifully with the pork. A lovely rice dish all around!

I loved the dried cherries and nuts in this. I didn't have time for "real" rice; so I made a boxed long grain & wild rice. It turned out wonderfully, I got lots of compliments on it.
