The recipe produced a beautiful delicious dish. However, I did make it again and subbed coconut milk for 1/2 the water and it was then decadent as well. Good job!!

I made this tonight and doubled the recipe; it came out wonderfully. I didn't have limes on hand so I used lemon juice instead. Aside from that, I followed the recipe exactly. I'm sure I'll make this again.

This is absolutely incredible. The popping mustard seeds smell great and the peas make such a great addition. I love this dish!

I am commenting on the Basmati Rice Pilaf.

Rice was delicious and the mix of flavors was excellent, The black mustard seed gave it less of a flavor "pop" than I expected. Very creative way to make a rice dish. Next time I make it I will add a bit more water to the initial amount.

My husband and I are huge fans of Indian cuisine. While I was watching the Chicken Tikka Masala Throwdown, my husband took one look at the tender chicken displayed on-screen and said, "You HAVE to make that!" So, I did! It took me some time to round up all the ingredients, since we live in a small town in the hills of Connecticut. Thanks to Adrianna's Caravan, I was able to have all of the hard-to-find Indian spices FedEx'd to my home. I prepared the recipe EXACTLY as printed. I hate when reviewers alter recipes to the point that it's nothing like what the original chef intended, then have the nerve to write a terrible review! Yes, the recipe took some time to prepare, but it was well worth it. The sauce was spicy, yet had a hint of sweetness. The chicken was tender and delicious. The rice was fluffy and aromatic. Everything about this meal was fantastic. This recipe is a definite keeper!
