I got rave reviews on this at a cocktail party. I did substitute pignoli nuts for the pecans, because I prefer them.
(I lightly roasted them for just a few minutes first. I put about a tablespoon (or a little lessof the pesto in a shot glass and hung one large, cooked shrinp on the edge of the glass. No hands needed, and just a nibble. Perfect for cocktail parties.
