Followed the directions exactly as stated and it came out wonderfully. (I have a gas oven; don't know if that made a difference. I was looking for a tasty way to use up the small green grapes that I grow in my back yard and this was perfect. I served it over toasted baguettes, spread with goat cheese.

After roasting the grapes in a buttered dutch oven for 25 minutes at 500 degrees, everything was burnt to a crisp. Is the timing or temperature incorrect?
