I made this recipe twice, the first time following exactly, the second time with oats instead and also added peaches. Both times it was great. My husband could not wait to get passed dinner for dessert. Easy and tasty even for those who don't make a lot of desserts.

This recipe was very tasty and very easy to make. I'm used to oat crumbles, so I was a little unsure of what to expect with the cornmeal topping. Turns out, it's incredibly good! I also loved the chopped almonds in the topping, which gave the dessert a satisying crunch. I did, however, find this crumble to be slightly too sweet for my tastes; next time I'll reduce the sugar in the topping and filling by a tablespoon or two.
