After watching the judges reactions on NFNS...we couldn't wait to try this recipe! I bought some gorgeous jumbo Key West Pinks (shrimp especially for this recipe. My only regret...I used the whole pound and a half, trusting this recipe would be a good one. We thought it was absolutely aweful! In fact, pretty much inedible. Very sad I wasted such beautiful shrimp! The tumeric was overpowering, and we are still scrubbing yellow finger nails 24 hours later. The garlic doesn't cook down enough before the shrimp are overcooked. If you want to try this recipe, please try just a few shrimp first! No disrespect to Aarti...I truly hope she does great on the network.

After watching the episode where Aarti prepared this and the judges RAVED about how great it was I couldn't wait to go to the market and buy all the ingredients and prepare it. I followed the recipe down to the bottom line. Then we sat down to eat it. The fennel salad part was delicious....the shrimp HORRIBLE. All we could taste was undercooked garlic and way too much of the coriander and tumeric. Very disappointed since I went to the fish market and purchased beautiful large shrimp and ruined them. There must have been something Aarti did in her preparation that she didn't put into the online recipe.

This recipe was perfect for someone who loves garlic and cilantro! I used small shrimp, but it still worked. I will probably add some hot sauce to the turmeric rub next time. So happy that Aarti won, and can't wait to see more fantastic recipes from her!! : Aarti- you rock!

I made this recipe with medium/small shrimp. Instead of stuffing the shrimp, I mixed it altogether. Cooked the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side in the oven. Served the shrimp over linguine and the kids and husband LOVED it!

I had to go out and buy tumeric and corriander...not my usual spices. The shrimp were delicious served with cocunut milk rice.
She is a great inspiration! Thank you Arti for a wonderful recipe.

What a fantastic dish! We watched Aarti make this the other night and couldn't wait to try it! It certainly didn't disappoint. The cilantro and garlic was so fresh.
We grilled it with hickory chips on low for 30 min, It was SO GOOD.
This rivals the N.O bbq shrimp we usually make, we're going to add this to our favorites!!
Thanks Aarti for the delicious recipe we will be making this A LOT.

Usually I am not a fan of Indian food mainly because I dont think Ive been properly exposed to it , but admittedley I have been wanting to expand my palet as I DO LOVE food ... needless to say I am a definite convert with this recipe!
