Good, not spectacular, but good. I think it needs even more of a kick. It is a really good idea, worth to play around with a little

I don't know what I did wrong given that I followed the recipe exactly, but somehow my pancakes turned out to be chewy insteady of fluffy. I've made homemade pancakes before using a different receipe from a different site and those were great. Somehow I expected these to be better. Nonetheless, I was dissappointed.

These were great, my family loved the sausage inside and it gave it a great taste. I didn't make the syrup but the pancakes were great!

I didn't have a good laddle so my pancakes weren't as pretty as Big Daddy's and the sausage did not leave enough grease so I used 2 tbls unsalted butter per batch.
Also, my butter was not soft for the honey maple butter to mix it properly so i hit it in the micro for 30 sec..mixed in the honey and maple syrup and put it in the freeser for 15 minutes..firmed up perfectly....

    simply awesome recipe

a bit of a prep but fabulous pancakes, fluffy, sinful. Better than IHOP. Big Daddy is a Big Deal. Best made on weekend when you have time to make a bit of a mess.

Our family loved these pancakes. I was bugging my husband as to what he wanted for his birthday breakfast, he pointed to the TV when you were making the Slammin' Sausage Pancakes. We made them at the campground....made everyone drool as they walked by. I will be surprising my extended family by serving them for Christmas Eve Brunch. Keep up with these excellent recipes! Merry Christmas Aaron. Thank you, Arlene from Bellevue, MI
