The chicken came out really good! My modifications: I only had beef broth, so I added that. My apples were more on the sweet side, then sour - so I added them. For the honey mustard - I only had dijon, so sweeten it with honey. After tasting it, I realized that something is missing. so I added a little bit of whole grain mustard to the sauce. Once the chicken came out of the oven - I sprinkled it with a little of the lemon juice. Perfect - I really liked the taste of this dish this way. Highly recommend!

I used bone in breast, which I brined. The chicken was very moist and tasty, but I expected the sauce to have more of a mustard taste to it. Next time, I'll add more honey mustartd and/or dijon. I didn't care for the apples, but my wife liked them. All in all, pretty simple and tasty.

I really liked this recipe! Great for a cold day. I did add some slivered green onions for presentation. I also made a half batch and it worked out perfectly. Will definately share with family/friends.

We have made this a regular recipe in our kitchen. The flavors are amazing, and I agree that one could double the gravy part at the end. Overall it's great!

Very delicious and very easy! Never thought that apples would be good with a savory meal, but I was very surprised by how well the apple flavored both blended in with the other flavors and could stand alone at the same time.

The meal was delicious! I will be making this again! Next time, I am going to make it with chicken breast--I prefer white meal over dark. You must make the gravy! It is the best part! Overall, great recipe from Foodnetwork!

This was one of the best meals i've ever made. My wife loved it. I used honeycrisp apples and they turned out great. I see why they say to use thighs, the skin gave the sauce a very rich flavor that would not be there if i had used boneless skinless breasts or something. I will definately be making this again. Thanks for the awsome recipe!

WOW! Amazing recepie!!! Didn't expect that it will be so delicious! We prefer white meat (breast rather than the chicken thighs! We combine it with roast potatoes!
