I was feeling torn at the end of the show but Arti was one of my second favorite's to win. My husband and I watched the series and have watched both of first two shows. I love watching Arti! She is so warm, enthusiastic ahd has a true passion which comes through sharing her favorite dishes with viewers. There is such a home comfort feel to her dishes that they have inspired me to try the entire meal. My husband and grown son who is a chef himself loved the dishes! My hat is off to Arti! I remember her saying she felt she was born destined to do a cooking show...I agree with you Arti you are a true asset of the Food Cooking Network. Great job of the Food Network Channel for capturing your personality in the marketing of the show...so cheerful just like you fromj the show opening music to the set kitchen which fits you! Congrats Arti!
By the way I used equal halves of raisins and figs when I made it not being able to make up my mind and it was delicous!

This was my first time making bread pudding and while the flavor was so intersting and delicious the bread was a bit soggy underneath the crust. Is it supposed to be that way? Thank you Aarti for such interesting recipies. It's nice to have some new spice at the Food Network. You are adorable!!!!!

I loved this bread pudding! I think the coconut milk and cardamom was a lovely pairing and made it so flavorful.

This was so good! It smells great and definitely feels like a huge hug! I made it with 1% milk because I didn't have whole milk, and raisins because I forgot to get the figs at the store. We just ate it plain, without icecream. YUM!! We will definitely make this again really soon! Thanks Aarti, so glad you are with Food Network now! I will be keeping up with your show and these yummy recipes!

I wanted to make this pudding, but a litlle bit lighter. I sprayed the pan with cooking spray (canola oil. I substituted whole milk for skimmed milk. Sugar for Splenda. Coconut milk for low-fat coconut milk. Since I didn`t have figs, I used dried apricots and raisins. You wouldn't beleive how creamy it was. I loved the sweetness of the coconut and the warmth of the spices, that make this dessert a real comfort food. It was really easy to make. Congratulations Aarti !!!

I was sooo excited when you won! Best ever! What I love about your recipes is that My 4 year old granddaughter can help with the entire prep! She loves spending time with me and cooking is what we often do when we're together! Thanks for the great recipes and we can't wait to see what you cook next week!
