Loved this..very Mediterranean. Added a chopped carrot as well as potato. Didn't have any kale so added spinach. Thickened sauce a tad with a flour roux. Squirted some fresh lemon and freshly chopped parsley over the top. Also added some cayenne because I love spicy. Definitely will make this again.

This is a great recipe. I added some celery, doubled the liquid with half chicken stock and vegetable stock and simmered it for over an hour. This gave it more broth, tender potatoes and lots of flavor!

Good but not great. I used some shrimp stock that I had on hand but otherwise followed the recipe. Maybe the chorizo I used was a bit on the bland side. Will make again but will try tweaking it.

This was yummy! I served it with a baguette (which dipped in the stew very well! and a Cotes-Du-Rhone Saint-Esprit 2010 French White Wine. It was wonderful. I do not do well with spice, so this was VERY spicy for me, but addictive. I used 1 cup chicken stock and 1 cup beef stock instead of water. I also put about 1/4 cup of heavy cream in when I put the shrimp in. Great recipe!

Loved it! I made a slight change to this. Along with the onion and garlic, I sauted a jalapeno pepper (diced and seeded. Instead of potatoes, I cooked rice on the side and added at the end. Very tasty! I will definately make this again! ( I can't wait to eat the leftovers for lunch tomorrow!

Definitely a new favorite in my household. I may add more chorizo or spices to increase the flavor next time, otherwise this is definitely a recipe I plan on making again.

Excellent. I have made this twice already - once for a dinner party, where one of my guests loved it so much, she asked for the recipe. The first time I made it, I didn't have any kale, so I added some frozen spinach instead. I also substituted some Dave's Chili oil for the olive oil to give it a bit of a kick. I'm making it again tonight and will try some chicken stock instead of the water.

This came out very good, although I think I should have used more chorizo for a little more spicy flavor. Next time I think I might add wine, instead of the water (which I did substitute with chicken broth. Maybe even add some celery and capers?? I think this si a very good base to add on. And I followed the recipe except I used chick broth instead of water.

I didn't like this at ALL..didn't like the sausage. Next time, I will probably use andouille sausage. I'm from Louisiana. This recipe just didn't have enough flavor to me. I tried to add parmesan cheese, but that didn't even help. Any suggestions? I liked the texture, but it was very bland.
