Absolutely loved this! I used 1/4 cup yellow onion and substituted basil for cilantro. It had cool textures, and really interesting flavors. This is such a creative way to use the rest of a roasted chicken.

This is a wonderful recipe! I used brown rice instead of the couscous. I don't like pasta very well. So, I love raisins and nuts. The brown rice makes your mouth think the whole dinner is nothing but chicken, nuts and raisins. I have never put cinnamon in a main meal and I loved it! This is a winner in my book. I will make this one again. I didn't use any butter, but I did use olive oil. The way the ingredients mix together is second to none! Oh, I cooked the rice first, then I followed the recipe pretty much as written.

This is my first review, although I have made dozens of recipes. I have to say, this easy recipe with such unique but well blended exotic tastes motivated me to sign-in. My husband hates couscous, however the flavorful experience makes you forget it is healthy. I cut back in the butter and used no fat greek yogurt, and don't forget the hot sauce - for a great taste experience.

Really tasty, unique and fun. I liked this recipe cause I felt like it gave me a little exotic with things I already had on hand. And it was easy. Nothing complicated but still felt like a glamourous meal. I added red peppers and peas and it turned out delicious! I also added a little honey to my yogurt and hot sauce mixture. Yum! Definitely make again.

Very tasty, very filling, and seems to be fairly nutritious. It was a quick one to cook up and looks/tastes impressive. I would definitely make this one again!

This is a delicious and easy meal! My husband and I loved it - so flavorful and interesting.

@Gamerwife, did you miss the part in step one where you add 1 tsp of kosher salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper to the boiling water with the spices and the carrots? I didn't think this recipe needed any additional salting beyond that.

The smells were delicious as I was cooking this. However, my final product was very bland. It needed salt. Also, I subbed out the carrots for edemame (yum!. Texture was great, just bland.
