I agree about the portioning of this recipe; definitely did not fill as many parfait sized cups as listed. One alteration that I made was instead of just adding bourbon, I used Vanilla Bourbon extract. The vanilla with this recipe is AMAZING. So easy and delish to make!

Well, to start, I was very skeptical that this recipe would fill 6 parfait glasses, and I was right. I had to triple this recipe to fill the glass represented in the food network magazine. This recipe would only fill 2 glasses! Now if the picture had represented a much smaller parfait glass, I could it.. It is also extremely sweet!!!!
I cut back on some of the sugar, and it helped quite a bit, I was dissapointed to say the least.
