To the people at Food Network. There are other food sites out there where we don't have to go through 6 to 8 advertisings disguised as a review. Please try to get this under control before we all go to another site for our recipes.

These are the best sloppy joes ever. I also like this recipe so much that I like eating the sloppy joe mix with chips like a dip almost. I have never really liked sloppy joes until now. Okay after reading some of the reviews it makes me wonder how much these people really cook. If they think this is a lot of mise en place. I had all that done in no time. No problems what so ever. Maybe I am the strange one all the mise en place is relaxing to me. I thought this was one of the best recipes ever.

The pistachios and raisins add really nice texture and flavor. My wife asks for this about every other week since I first made it. I haven't had problems with the recipe as written.

Very good with nice textures, layered with flavor. I loved the raisins and pistachios. Even my 16 year old loved the sloppy joe!

Excellent sloppy joes!! Will definitely make this again! I was so impressed with the flavors. I love Aarti's food, and she is the best thing to happen to Food Network in quite some time. Can't wait for her new season.

OMG! I made this last night for my twin 14 year old sons and 3 year old daughter and they absolutely LOVED it. I did substitute turkey for ground chuck - serrano chile for a habanera and garam masala for a product by Kikkoman called "Tikka Masala Curry Sauce(Which is mild and taste wonderfulI am so happy I came across this receipe. The family voted to keep it in weekly rotation of meals.

I've made this twice now, and the whole family loves it. The first time we ate it with whole wheat buns, and the second time with whole wheat flour tortillas. I didn't have any raisins on hand, so I used dried cranberries and it was delicious.

SUCH A GREAT DISH!!!!! I am at a loss to DeeSuggs and the other nutcases that gave this recipe one star because they had not tried it or the recipe was incomplete (which is the website managers fault, not Aarti's! And, well, there is no accounting for DeeSuggs lack of intelligence or poor form. Why on earth do people change the recipe and then give reviews at all? You are critiquing YOUR adaptation of the recipe, not Aarti's. It's NOT runny IF YOU SIMMER long enough, IT'S FABULOUS!!!! So very scrumptious, even my picky husband could hardly wait for seconds. Aarti, you are a natural and I love everything you've put out so far, right down to your little giggle. THANKS and glad you won!!!!
