Finally a cauliflower recipe that truly is a great substitute for mashed potatoes - for those of us keeping an eye on carbs. You know it's a winner when the 7 and 9 year olds ask for more......Thanx

I made this last night along with the chopped steak and it was a great combination. My visiting son and I absolutely loved the cauliflower and went back for second helpings of it. My husband didn't care for it, but he's not a big cauliflower fan, but I thought I'd give it a try. It's still a winner recipe in my book. I found myself craving this later in the evening too. Thank you for such a great recipe!

    Hi Gina and Pat,

I feel we're just like family now that I have started watching your show every day. It helps me figure out what to cook for dinner at times. Thanks guys (smile...now as for this Mash Cauliflower 'N' Cheese recipe is really the Bomb in my house. I have always loved cauliflower but have only cooked it one way which was steamed, or add some cheese sauce to it. I would fix it for my family but soon they became bored it the old tradition fixing. But, when I saw you guys prepared it mash like mash potatoes...I tried it and it was so good that I am cooking it tonight for dinner for the family. I am sure they are going to love it just as much as I did for lunch today (smile.

Thanks again for another easy meal to make for my family and keeping them happy. I love your show and I don't know what I would do without you two.

Million hugs and kisses to you and your family.

Great recipe and very tasty, but took more like 30-40 minutes to get the cauliflower "tender" and I covered the pot. FYI

I made this for dinner tonight after seeing it on tv. My husband doesn't typically like cauliflower and he ate most of his portion directly out of the pot!!! He thought it was that good! I have to agree...the flavor and texture was perfect.

This is the best mashed caulifower recipe yet. The roasted garlic really puts it over the top. This will definitely be one of my sides for many meals to come. Thanks Pat and Gina!

Made this last night with the chopped steak and mushroom gravy. My 12 year old just asked for some with her sandwich for lunch today. Need I say more?

Excellent recipe, why didn't I think to use my immersion blender before ? I added some crumbled bacon and it was yummy!
