Not as sweet as I expected, but really liked the tang. Simmered several hours very low and beans (cannelini and garbaanzo were nice and creamy.

Have to disagree. I didn't think these flavors went well together. It was certainly quick and easy but I couldn't eat it!

Great quick and easy recipe. This recipe has a great taste and is very simple to make, I even had all of the ingredients on hand without special shopping. Instead of pancetta, I used precooked bacon I have overflowing in my freezer, and it gave a great smokey taste to the slightly sweet broth. Only complaint is it turns out more like thick chili than the beans in the picture, but I will be making this again.

Very tasty. I used black beans instead of white and home-cured bacon plus creole sausage instead of pancetta but the balsamic/honey flavors were still conspicuous and delicious.

Really, really de-lish! Used fire-roasted tomatoes since I didn't have diced; substituted 1 can garbanzo beans for the 2nd can of cannellini beans; accidentally put too much black pepper in; made cornbread muffins to go with...turned out absolutely de-lish! Didn't take much time at all; perfect for a cold weather meal. Highly recommend!

This was an awesome recipe!!! I did it twice, once with beans and once with chick peas! The chickpeas were a major hit!!! YOU HAVE TO TRY IT!

Quick, easy and quite tasty! I didn't have pancetta on hand so I subbed a little turkey bacon. Also added a bit of diced onions and red peppers. I like things spicy so I'm sure my crushed red pepper was more than a pinch... I really enjoyed this it will make it again for sure!
