This recipe rocks and my 3 yr. old had fun helping with the assembly of ingredients. Perfect for a busy Mom dinner.

Had these yummy potatoes with homemade meatloaf. The potatoes were wonderful. I added extra shredded cheddar & I used sliced potatoes instead of frozen (which I couldn't find in our local food store. They were a hit and I have leftovers for during the week. I used the 2oz jar of pimentos which was a perfect amount. Also low fat evap. milk & healthy recipe Cheddar Cheese soup. Dish was Very flavorful & So easy!

This wasn't bad. Instead of using bagged frozen potatoes, I used 4 large Russet potatoes, sliced on my mandoline. And I used a VERY large onion, roughly chopped (we LOVE onion.

We thought it was a little bland. Also could use more cheese in the middle. Next time will increase cheese to 2 full cups, with about 1.5 cups in the middle.

Overall, I like Betty Crocker's boxed scalloped potatoes MUCH better.

*edit: As a side note: a jar of Dromedary diced pimentos is 4 ounces. I assume this recipe means to use "1/2 jar (2 ounces diced pimentos, Dromedary"

This was delicious. I used 5 huge russet potatoes and a summer squash, doubled the rest of the ingredients and added S & P. The squash tasted amazing and my kids barely noticed that there was a vegetable buried in there.

This was delicious. I made a few changes as I needed it done in a hurry. I used a 12 oz. can of evaporated milk instead 5 and added the cheese to the mixture. I also sauted my onions. Then I stirred the potatoes into the mixture and baked for 30 minutes. It was very rich and filling. Served it with ham. A big hit with everyone. Way to go Sandra!

This recipe was delicious! My husband has never liked scalloped potatoes but he went back for thirds with this recipe! The only thing I did different that I would recommend that people try is I used gruyere cheese instead of cheddar (but both ways are great!

This recipe is great! It is so easy to make and tastes like the scalloped potatoes that take forever to make. I serve this along side any of the major meat main dishes and it always compliments them. I never have any leftovers.
