I loved the fresh taste and adding the thyme made it very special. It does take awhile to use all these fresh ingredients but they're worth it!

Absolutely amazing and gourmet. Obviously, fresh thyme is a must. Fragrant and sweet. Cut the amount of sugar in half- as you should do for almost all Giada drink recipes! While it seems like a fun, bright, summer day drink, I actually would serve this at a candlelit dinner- or maybe as a nightcap on a warm evening. It has almost a romantic quality to it.

A very nice ladies only drink: because it is very sweet. My husband and his friend had it as a desert after a very spicy Indian dinner:
I wish I had read the review before and added more Gin or half a cup of sugar. Will surely try that next time I make this drink.

Saw the episode while at the gym the other day and just had to try it. LOVE IT!!! A nice sweet refreshing drink on a summer evening. Def something I am going to try at my next dinner party.

I read the initial review and cut back the sugar to 1/2 cup instead of a cup, and the drink came out really good. Admittedly it is a little sweet but the recipe sounds sweet, so I expected it. The thyme is a wonderful unexpected flavor, and the soda adds a nice touch. It tastes like an expensive cocktail from a nice restaurant or resort. I would definitely make this for a cocktail party or a night with the girls!

Followed the recipe but the drink turned out too sweet. This isn't the first time that I've made one of Giada's drink recipes. They always turn out too sweet, so I should have known and added less sugar to the apple syrup. I added more gin after tasting to make it less sweet but I just didn't care for it too much. I won't make this again.
