This soup is soooo GOOD!! Instead of chorizo I used spicy chicken sausage links that I first seared, then cut up into pieces and added them back in right before I added the broth. I chose smoked paprika, and I'm sure made the world of difference. I simmered the soup for 30 minutes and then added yellow rice I had left over and simmered for 15 min. more. It was such a great soup for this awful start to spring here in the northeast. My 6 yr old ate his bowl in under 30 minutes without me nagging, which he never does unless it's kraft mac and cheese. He even asked me to save him leftovers for tomorrow. Gotta try this soup!

We read as touted repeatedly 3 times,still not the flavour expected.Guess we did something in error/or recipe was not written as shown?Will try again and understand Not a 30 minute Soup.

Excellent recipe.Made over the Memorial Day Weekend and we enjoyed it several times. It was hearty and delicious. Will definitely make it again.

I can't talk, this is so good!!!!!!!!!!! Is not a 30 minutes recipe, but I don't care, is delicious!!!!!
