Best Pecan Pie and Crust I have EVER had! Not overly sweet like most pecan pies. first time I have used Agave Nectar...and I love it! pecans are pricey, so I get mine at Costco...so much cheaper by the lb than the grocery store. I never could get pie dough to work well for me, but this recipe is not only super delicious, but easy! Never would have thought to use a food processor for this but it makes the best pie dough super fast.

This recipe was so delicious! I made it for my grandfather and I the night before Thanksgiving. We could not resist the aroma in the kitchen while it was baking and had to "taste it" before turkey day. It was absolutely delicious. The orange zest and agave makes the pie. No pecan pie I have ever had before can match this one (store bought or otherwise! It is a must try.

I've made many pecan pies over the years, and I love this one. I agree that the orange zest and agave are good additions. My son is a chef, and he loved it.

We have tried other pecan pie recipies, but they never turned out the way we wanted. This one is a keeper. The citrus zest really kicks
this pie up a whole nother level.
Maybe this pie should be renamed "BEST EVER PECAN PIE"

This does not taste like the karo pecan pie and my husband said to throw this recipe in the trash and do not use it again. This recipe could be changed for use with diabetic.

What's particularly exciting about this pie is that Aaron has found a way to make pecan pie less cloyingly rich and sweet but still delicious, so you can truly enjoy without quite as much guilt. And the crust is flaky and crispy. Just great!

I had never made a Pecan Pie before, but I am so glad I did. I took it to a potluck and it was devoured right away. I did like the different flavor of the agave nectar and citrus zest, but I think I got too much citrus in mine. This is a very easy crowd pleaser!

This is a great recipe! I love the addition of the citrus zest, it really cuts through the sweetness of a traditional pecan pie and adds a little something special. And actually I forgot the orange at the store and had to substitute with the zest of a clementine! Delish! I will definitely have this pie on my table this holiday - thanks Aaron!
