Too Sweet! Added more vodka to weaken the sugar and it was just right ;

Absolutely, hands down, the best drink I've ever had.
I didn't have lemon vodka, so I used 1 cup of regular vodka, with half of the syrup yield, and topped off the shaker with lemon perrier. It was AMAZING!
I made these for my boyfriend and I, but had extra ice cubes, so made them again two days later for my family. Everyone loved them. Definitely no leftovers...

Loved it! Made it with the ice cubes and it was delicious and such a hit. Again, it can be a little sweet so you make it to your taste. I actually think the ginger, lemon and lime balanced out the simple syrup well. Awesome and simple!

This drink is refreshing but way too sweet. Added more sparkling water & decreased the simple syrup next batch.

I made this today.......love them! It may be a little sweet for some but that decreases as the beautiful ice cubes melt. They were so awesome, made them in our favorite Disney World martini glasses. Thanks, Giada.

These could get you into trouble! Absolutely delicious. I didn't have time to make the lime ice cubes in advance, so I just added the juice of 2 limes into the rest of the ingredients. I also just stirred the cocktail instead of shaking since I didn't have a cocktail shaker on hand. I will definitely be making these often!

First of all the lime ice cubes were inspired,I can use those for many different kinds of drinks
First time I made it I followed the directions exactly(hate it when people comment on a recipe without having tried it as written and frankly it was way too sweet.Perhaps OK for those who don't want to feel like they are having a martini with alcohol but it did not work for me
Second time I added half the ginger simple syrup so the ration of booze to syrup was 2:1
I added some more fresh lime juice and voila! perfect drink(at least to me
Next time I make the ginger simple syrup I plan to add some lemongrass, a very common marriage of flavors on my favorite island,Bali

These were absolutely fantastic!! Next time I want to try to freeze the ginger water so that I have it on hand at all times. Then I can shave it into the shaker...even better.

We made these martinis for a little party we had last weekend. They were so refreshing and delicious --- especially on a hot, Texas summer night! I didn't have lemon vodka, so we used plain vodka and I added a little lemon juice. The lime ice cubes were a nice touch and looked so pretty in the glass. The only ice cube trays I had on hand were for heart-shaped ice cubes, but my husband said it made them extra special. We will definitely make these again!
