I'm giving 2 stars because it wasn't terrible but there is no way you can call these brownies....its chocolate cake. My bf laughed when I told them they were suppose to be brownies lol he said it taste like chocolate bread. They didn't have enough flavor. Won't be making again :(

Good, but a little dry. Next time I'd add a few tablespoons of oil and back for only 20 minutes

This recipe is great! Really let it cool for at-least an hr I would say because they keep their shape and the chocolate really sets in! I used 1/2 C semi-sweet and 1/2 C of Dark Chocolate : My friends love 'em!

If these are baked in a 13x9 pan for 20-25 minutes as instructed in the recipe, they will come out cakey, just as many of the reviewers have noted. I bake them in a 9 inch pan for 20 minutes and they come out fudgy and fabulous. Even if the middle looks underdone, when it cools, its sets to a perfectly fudgy brownie. It's a great recipe.

I was not happy with the brownies... it was more like a chocolate cake than a brownie... will not make it again.

These were just okay for me. Not very sweet. Too be fair however, I used dark chocolate chips (60 cocoa because that's what I had on hand. That probably had something to do with the flavor and sweetness..

Rich, delicious, and super-easy! How can you go wrong with a brownie recipe that incorporates my favorite candy bar? The lovely thing about this recipe is that it uses ingredients you usually have on hand, and is also very forgiving of substitutions - e. g. I have used white and Demerara sugar in place of muscovado when I didn't have the latter. I usually top my brownies with nuts, but i havent felt the need to do so with this recipe, it's just so good. Highly recommended!
