This flan was AWESOME! I made it for my cinco de mayo party yesterday and everybody raved! It was really easy to prepare because you basically just put everything in the kitchen aid at once which is nice. Thanks Marcela! I absolutely will be making this again!

This is unbelievably delicious and really easy! My only comments would be that 1 it's really hard to coat a pan with caramel after having sprayed the pan with nonstick spray, and 2 this is MUCH sweeter than your average flan, and I do wish it were a teensy bit less sweet. Even with those criticisms, though, it is still incredibly delicious. DEFINITELY making this again!

The best coconut flan ever, you can get the "cajeta" at Walmart in the Latin Food section, theres is a couple of brands that you can choose from.

This was so very good. This was my first time making a flan and it came out great. I read other reviews and they helped a lot. I used the Smucker's Sundae Syrupto coat the pan and I also lightly beat the eggs before I incorporated them into the milks and I used the toothpick test. My family loved this and It has already been requested for the holiday's. Thank you for a great first time experience making a flan.

I made this for last Christmas and took it to my in laws house. Very easy to make. The first flan I have ever made. Everyone absolutely loved it. My sister in law wanted the recipe. Will make again this Christmas. A new family tradition!
