These were OMG GOOD! We made them with our nephews and served them in a "COOKIE BAR" with white chocolate and semi sweet chocolate melted for dipping, with nuts, more toffee bits and candy cane bits to roll in. Oh yeah! Children and adults alike were happy. I liked the cookies without all the dipping and because there were way more cookies than we could polish off in an evening, I dribbled the rest of the white chocolate over the tops of the remaining cookies and let that set before putting away. I could see using this recipe at Easter and coloring the white chocolate pastels. Five stars for FUN and taste!

Awesome! I made these to add to an assortment of Christmas cookies that I took with me from Mississippi to California, and they were and instant and complete hit! Make no mistake, I gave all the credit to Meemaw. I have difficulty in accepting compliments for something I didn't create! These will become one of my family traditions; right up there with my traditional Baklava! Thank you, Meemaw, and thank you, Paula and Brooke!

This more or less a copy correction suggestion. If one makes this recipe (approx 30 mins
and you have preheated your oven to 350 and then you are directed to put the recipe in the
fridge for an hour. Isn't it a bit wasteful to run the oven for 1.25 hrs? Move the preheat step
toward the end of the recipe. Thanks.

Made these cookies for Christmas. Instead of dipping, I drizzled a little melted milk chocolate over the tops. Everyone loved them!
