This is great recipe. Loved it.So easy. And tasted so good. Paired great with some steaks make in a cast iron grill pan. Did not have Yukon gold potatoes, but I did have the rose dust potatoes. (way better than red small red B size potatoes. Try this recipe. Thanks Anne.

This was wonderful! The only change I made was to add 3 tbl. butter to the potatoes before mashing them and I added a little melted butter to the topping to help it brown. I will definitely keep this recipe to use again and again!

Love 'make ahead' dishes, made this yesterday, ate it tonight w/Anne's Standing Rib Roast, divine! I kept it lighter by eliminating the cheddar & sour cream, not necessary. B/c I like using a ricer for mashed potatoes, I peeled the potatoes and made them like any other kind of mashed potatoe--added some butter and EVOO, used some leftover heavy cream and milk I wanted to use up, seasoned it, and put it in a casserole dish for baking tonight. I would spray the panko topping with olive oil so it browns faster and better.

This was AMAZING. It was simple to prepare (I assembled everything hours before dinner, with the exception of the panko and assemble. It was so good I only had a small amount of left overs for potato pancakes the next morning. Thanks Chef Anne for another winner!
