First time making polenta, made it with the stracoto pot roast(which was amazing and thought it was good but missing something so I added some herbs. It was so creamy and loved the flavor the cheese added. Cheese didn't make it gritty or lumby, everything melted perfectly. The pot roast gravy made was perfect it. Not sure I would make it again, yummy but not great, maybe I'm not a polenta person.

This was my first time making and even tasting polenta and I thought it was okay. Everything was smooth and creamy until I added the cheese and parsley. The cheese made it gritty and chunky and the parsley I did not like in it at all. So besides the chunks and minus the parsley, it was okay, no big deal. Now I have about 8 more servings left over...what should I make?

Decided to give this a run through before the "big day". Wowser! The kids wanted a taste before it was completely done because it looked great. Once we tasted it, we were hooked. So great and tasty and creamy. One dish down a few more to go. Thanks Giada.

Delicious! This was a perfect accompaniment to the stracoto with porcini. I prepared this for my family tonight and we ate it while decorating the Christmas tree. Perfect evening!

Wonderful, creamy, luscious, cheesy, silky, mouthwatering, luxurious, smooth, rich~~need I say more? (I even cut down on the butter a bit and used low-fat milk...
Remember a good polenta needs at least 30 mins. of stirring~~like Giada says- "Give it some love."

Gee, cupcakegem, you're a real gem.
I agree "maynmn" shouldn't have rated the recipe with stars without having made it. But as for reading someone's comment--it only take a second out of your time to determine you need to skip someone's sweet compliment to Giada. If isn't appealing to your needs, go on to the next. She obviously doesn't know where else to let Giada know how she felt.
I've made this recipe time and again and it is a delicious compliment to shrimp and beef alike.

This polenta was absolutely wonderful!! My family loved it so much that I had to make more! Very cheesy! Very yummy! Now, for the first 3 reviews, Food Network has to delete these. They dont count toward the review of this recipe! I'm tired of going to reviews of recipes and finding people trying to sell their stuff here! Go to ebay to sell your things! And to the reviewer that gives 5 stars to a recipe she hasnt made yet. Telling Giada how much you enjoy her show doesnt help the other foodies like myself with the recipe. People want to see an actual review of the recipe before they go out and buy all the ingredients. Please dont review recipes unless you have actually made them...
